My Philosophy on Photography

I love doing photoshoots outdoors, in the fresh air, where things aren't as predictable and controlled. The spontaneity of nature inspires me.

When given a choice between using artificial light and natural light, I usually side with the natural beauty of the sun. I'll only resort to using a studio, artificial lights, and the camera's flash when I absolutely have to.

I believe that a photographer should know the camera well, and work hard to take a good picture using only the camera. However, I will occasionally use Photoshop to give my pictures an extra kick. There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing this. Photoshop is just a tool that can make good pictures better.

Photoshoots don't have to be complicated, tedious, and time consuming. For most photoshoots all you need is an outfit, and all I need is my camera.

Photoshoots should be fun! I never take myself too seriously. Good pictures can come naturally from having a good time.
